Doughnuts


1 pkg of Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits
vegetable oil
1-2 cups of Sugar
paper lunch bag

First, pour vegetable oil in bottom of pan, so that there is approximately 3/4" of oil in the bottom.  Warm oil up on medium/hot burner.

Next, open tube of Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits.  Layout biscuits and use a small cap to cut out the holes.  While the oil is heating up, place 1 cup of sugar in paper bag.


Carefully, place dough in heated oil. Turn over doughnuts using tongs.
Once, the doughnuts are golden brown, remove them from the oil and place them in the bag of sugar.  Fold down the opening of the bag and shake the doughnuts in the bag of sugar.  Remove the doughnuts from the bag and place them on a plate covered with a paper towel.
