Famous Fudge


My Grandma use to make this fudge and it always a hit.

1 1/2 sticks of butter
1 can of carnation milk
3 cups of sugar

1 bag of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 7oz jar of marshmallow cream

Heat butter, milk and sugar to 240 degrees. Stir constantly and heat slowly or it will scorch.
After the butter melts, it will look like this:
Remember to slowly heat the milk, sugar and butter.
When the sugar, milk and butter reach 240 degrees, it is a caramel like color.  Compare the following photo to the first photo of the mixture starting to boil.

Remove from heat, and stir in chocolate chips and marshmallow cream.


Pour into jellyroll pan and cool.  Cut into squares and Enjoy!
